Nærøysund AS is situated on Nærøy, west of Florø, Western Norway. Since 1990 the company has produced farmed cod and is one of Norway's leading companies in this field.

In 2008 Nærøysund AS will produce 2, 500 tonnes of edible fish. Nærøysund AS sells “Superfresh cod” through Hallvard Lerøy A/S (www.leroy.no) and supplies fish regularly throughout the year. We wish to utilise all parts of the fish and also sell by-products.

The Myklebust family are the main shareholders. Other owners are Fjord Invest AS.
